So just to clarify - ultramarines can't use space wolves rules, but dark angels can use Codex: Space Marines rules, right?

Thanks for the answers & recommendations. The question still stands though on the different marine codices being used interchangeably with their normally associated miniatures/paint schemes, (can marines painted like Ultramarines use Space Wolves rules).
