Having read a bit about MCWoD it sounds a total copy of Palladium's Nightbane (which is a really cool setting, shame about the system). Having seen the book the production is impressive - but all WoD is nowadays. It also is a weighty ole tome but quite expensive.
Given both D&D's and White Wolf's love of supplements this thing could expand quicker than a teenager's pecker in a porn shop.

I hope beyond hope that it'll just pass unnoticed and die in a corner somewhere. And I do think that all the cards are stacked against it. First off, Monte Cook said this was his last book and that it'd be just a one-shot, no expansions included (not that I'd take his word for it). And then there's the fourth edition D&D announced so I imagine most D&D players won't be investing in books that'll turn out to be obsolete in half a year.
Gods, everything about this book annoys me.

Is it bright where you are? Have the people changed? Does it make you happy?
