Virtual Set - Defensive Shields
Brand new from the SWCCG Players Committee, making it your way, hot to your computer is the latest Virtual Set! And this time it's a Premium set! Introducing Premium Set #1, specificially designed for the players, by the request of the players.
Premium Set #1 contains no brand new cards. Premium Set #1 (collectively known as Virtual Set - Defensive Shields) is a recreation of the Defensive Shields, aimed at helping players who do not own any or all of the Defensive Shields.
This virtual set is a virtualization of the original cards (the effects) that were later turned into Defensive Sheilds by Decipher. The virtual text represents the shield version, not the effect version, so there is no game play difference or balance issues.

These are all of the cards releeased in the set and are virtualized; they come from various sets. Allegations of Corruption and A Tragedy Has Occured also have the new grabber icon.
Many players were voicing their concerns about the scarcity of Reflections III expansion's Defensive Shields. This is a great introduction method for many returning players who have had trouble locating these Shields. It also is a great beginning point for new players, as it gives them a core availibility of needed cards (shields).
These cards are tournament legal immediately. For purposes of Deck Listing (for tournaments, such as Worlds) you will still need to list the (V) following the card title if you are using the virtual version of the effects. Also note that this set does not represent all of the available Defensive Shields. There are a few other shields released by both Decipher and the Players Committee that are not in this set (mainly due to them either 1) already being released by the Players Committee, or 2) they were created as Defensive Sheilds only by Decipher and they were never originally an effect).
The Players Committee hopes that you will enjoy these new cards, and also use them as a way to introduce (and re-introduce) new and returning players back into the game!
