Alert My Star Destroyer (v)

This card may be used in conjunction with They Must Never Again Leave This City to deploy the Executor for free.

Wooof (v)

This character can be revealed via Combat Response to deploy Jabba's Space Cruiser from the reserve deck, but not vice-versa because the Space Cruiser is a capital starship and as such is not a valid target for the initiation of Combat Response.

Tanus Spijek (v)/J'Quille (v)

Each of these characters' text pertaining to causing force loss for the number of opponent's characters present is mandatory and must be applied the first time the character is deployed. This is an automatic action. You may not "choose" not to apply it the first time the character is deployed in order to apply it upon a subsequent deployment.

If either of these characters is deployed to the Senate, both the force-loss text and the gametext-cancelling ability of Plead My Case To The Senate/My Lord, Is That Legal? are automatic actions, thus the player whose turn it is decides in which order to resolve these two actions.

'insert' cards

The timing of 'insert' card resolution is being slightly modified...

The automatic action triggered when an 'insert' card is revealed is the scheduling of the effects of the 'insert' card, not its resolution. Therefore, if Your Insight Serves You Well is on the table, the two competing automatic actions are (a) YISYW's 'insert' cancellation text and (b) the scheduling of the 'insert' card's text. While these two automatic actions can be resolved in any order chosen by the player whose turn it is, the result is the same: the 'insert' card is canceled before it can have any effect. This is because the resolution of the 'insert' card has not yet occurred when these two automatic actions are triggered.

Note that this revision is specific to the 'insert' card rules only, and does not alter the rules for automatic actions.

Deactivate The Shield Generator and The Shield Is Down!

This is not an errata or rules change, but merely a clarification of how the timing rules work with these cards.

The action that starts off the stack is the successful epic event destiny draw (DtSG). Actions resolve in the following order:

1. the epic event destiny draw is successful
2. characters at Bunker relocate to Back Door
3. Bunker and Landing Platform are "blown away"
3(a). all events listed on TSID (in order they appear on card)
OR
3(b). all events listed in the rules docs for "blown away"
4. opponent loses 8 Force
5. epic event is lost

With the exception of items 3(a) and 3(b), actions in this list must resolve in this order. Items 3(a) and 3(b), however, can be resolved in any order the light side player chooses because they are competing, unordered automatic actions. Accordingly, the light side player could opt to resolve 3(b) before 3(a).

Strike Planning and Imperial Decree (v)

If Strike Planning and the Endor system are on the table, the dark side player will not generate any Force at Endor even if using Imperial Decree (v) to activate based on the light side player's icons instead of his own.

Jabba's Space Cruiser (v)

Jabba's Space Cruiser (v) must have a pilot aboard to use this gametext. (See "pilot" in the Glossary Supplement).

Molator (v), Goo Nee Tay, and M'iiyoom Onith

When both Molator (v) and Goo Nee Tay are on the table, Molator (v)'s grant of immunity to Goo Nee Tay does allow the dark side player to use M'iiyoom Onith's gametext.

Effective immediately, these five virtual cards are being errata'd as follows:

Hutt Bounty (v)
EFFECT [Virtual Set 8]
Text: Deploy on Jabba. Your battle destiny draws are +1. At related sites you control, your force generation is +1. Once per battle here, may make a non-Jedi character present power = 0 for remainder of battle.

Jabba's Influence (v)

EFFECT [Virtual Set 6]
Text: Deploy on table. Your gangsters are information brokers. Your bounty hunters (except Boba Fett) are power +1. While Xizor on table, Scum And Villainy ignores Emperor. Once per game, if Jabba at Audience Chamber, may \/ a non-bounty hunter alien. (A)

I Wonder Who They Found (v)
EFFECT [Virtual Set 9]
Text: Deploy on Han or Back Door. Immediately draw two cards from Reserve Deck. Rebels are defense value +2 and are immune to attrition < 4. Imperials deploy +1 here. May place Effect in Lost Pile to cancel the targeting of a character weapon.

All Wrapped Up (v)
EFFECT [Virtual Set 8]
Text: Deploy on table. Your bounty hunter present may capture a just forfeited character. Once per turn, may /\ Bounty, which may deploy on captives at non-prison sites. Whenever you collect a bounty, may take one retrieved card into hand; place bounty Effect out of play. Double Back is a Used Interrupt. [Immune to Alter]

URoRRuR'R'R (v)
CHARACTER-ALIEN [Virtual Set 8]
POWER: 2 ABILITY: 1
Text: Deploys only on Tatooine. While another Tusken here, opponent's weapon destiny draws here are -2 and once per turn, may place a card from hand on top of your Force Pile to draw top card of Reserve Deck. Other Tuskens here are forfeit +4.
DEPLOY: 3 FORFEIT: 4

Jabba's Space Cruiser (v)/Power Of The Hutt

Important clarification regarding the new capital starship rules: when deploying an unpiloted capital starship to a system or sector, it must be deployed simultaneously with a pilot from hand, regardless of where the ship is being deployed from. Thus, you are permitted to use Power of the Hutt to deploy Jabba's Space Cruiser (v) to a system or sector from Reserve Deck, provided you are also able to deploy an appropriate pilot from hand with it.

"may not leave"

"may not leave"
A card that 'may not leave' a location may not move away using any type of movement (such as landspeed or relocation), and may not be carried from the location aboard a vehicle, starship, or another character. A card that 'may not leave' a location may, however, be placed in any pile or returned to a player's hand, and may embark/disembark normally.

This is an interim ruling and is subject to change.

I Can't Believe He's Gone

This card may only be played as a reponse to Obi-Wan being placed out of play from table.
_________________

Careful Planning (v)/Combat Readiness (v)

The starting function of these cards may be used to deploy Effects that have deploy costs (though you do not have to pay these costs).

Note: This was inadvertently left out of the new Rules Sheet's entry (though the entry is still 100% valid).

Forced Landing (v)/Dismantle On Sight (v)

If you have used a card's text to /\ or \/ a card in a turn before you deployed Forced Landing (v) or Dismantle On Sight (v), and that card's text would otherwise be subject to the 'one rule', you may not use the card's text again this turn to /\ or \/ a card.

For example, if you used Commander Praji (v) to /\ an Imperial pilot in your control phase, you may not use his text again this deploy phase by deploying Forced Landing (v).

R2-D2 (v)

R2-D2 (v) only prevents you from having to place cards in your used pile from your hand. It will not stop cards like Overwhelmed from requiring you to place cards in your used pile from the table, or any other location.

Field Promotion (v)

The wording of this card is being changed as a clarification and to conform with the original design intent. The change is in italics:

Deploy on your captain or commander. This character is now considered to be an admiral and a leader. Imperials are immune to Demotion. Once per game, you may take one card with 'Imperial' in its title into hand from Reserve Deck; reshuffle. (Immune to Alter.)
_________________

Houjix/Ghhhk

If you just lost all the cards that participated in a battle you lost, even if not all of your cards were forfeited, Houjix/Ghhhk is still a valid response.

Note: The wording of this ruling has not yet been issued by the Rules Committee; although the ruling itself is official, the language of the ruling is not yet official.

Jabba's Sail Barge (v)
This card's gametext is being erratad to include the following text: "May add 1 driver."

This text was left off the card by mistake.
_________________

Han's Toolkit (v)

This card is being errata'd as follows (change in italics):

Deploy on Han or Falcon. While Han piloting Falcon at a battleground, non-[A] Effects (except Presence of the Force, Emperor’s Power and Search And Destroy) are suspended.
_________________

Strikeforce (v) and Something Special Planned For Them (v)

These cards have been errata'd, and the new text is as follows (changes in italics):

[Grabber icon] Deploy on table. Once per game, if opponent just played an Interrupt, may stack it here. To play any new Interrupt of same name, players must first stack it here. May place this Effect in Lost Pile (place cards here in owners' Used Pile) to retrieve a starship. (Immune to Alter.)

Tatooine: Great Pit Of Carkoon

The text on this location allows the Sarlacc to attack a captive present on an open vehicle (overriding the rule that characters aboard vehicles may not be attacked by creatures).

the "one" rule and cards with the \/ symbol

The "\/" symbol (deploy from reserve deck) is considered to be specifying a "particular time frame" (the deploy phase) for purposes of the one rule, so that if the context of the card indicates that the \/ action is singular (typically by use of the word "one", "a", or "an") the one rule will apply.

For reference, the "one" rule is as follows (from the Glossary):
one — When a card that is on table, such as a character or Effect, allows you to perform an
action during a particular time frame (e.g., a turn, a phase, or a battle), and the context indicates that the action is singular (typically by use of the word “one,” “a” or “an”), then you may
perform that action only once during that time frame. For example, Baragwin says “During your
control phase, may exchange one card in hand for one weapon or device in your Lost Pile.” Thus,
the Baragwin may exchange only one card per control phase.

Cards in play that do not specify a particular time frame for an action allow you to perform that
action as many times as you like. Also, you may play multiple copies of an Interrupt that allows
an action during a particular time frame in order to perform that action multiple times, subject to
the limitations on unique and restricted cards.

movement - regular - landing

In addition to the items mentioned in this rules entry, a piloted starfighter (etc.) may also:
move from a system where a starship is present to that starship's related starship docking bay site.

Since Star Destroyer: Launch Bay is permitted by the rules to be treated as a docking bay for purposes of deployment, taking off and landing, this allows ships at the system to land at this site.

Bron Burs (v)

This character cancels the dark side's gametext (only) on any site where present, not all text on dark side sites.

In other words, the text could read as follows:

"Cancels dark side gametext of any site where present."
