Can we please make sure that all games are finished by the 11th of October please.

The 18th of October is the first turn of round 2 would it be possible to have all players attend from 14:00 to play that match and arrange second matches.

Second round starts on the 18th of October. Players can make amendments to their lists but must keep the same three warlocks. This round the terrain and extra region features come into play and this wil adjust players lists. Remember Bojan you need to declare all 3 attacks this round.

I actually had a long discussion about running the campaign with some press gangers on the forum. This is what they said - every round the list refreshes and thus you can rebuild your list in accordance with field allowances and all other list building rules. They also said several other things I disagree with but I imagine this is so as players buy new units they can get to field them. If you want to add a 4th warlock then you must buy an entire detachment.
This round we will include the rules for minion villages and breeding grounds etc.

I think this is the PP interpretation of the printed rules. The rules really don't give a lot of info on several points and thus they are open to debate. I had questions about the following;
1. What is the order of the declaration phase?
The PP reply was that both players turn up and all details are resolved directly prior to playing. For me this is impractical as players need to bring their entire collection of miniatures to the club for each match. Far better for the attacker to declare to determine the scenerio and the defender (if he wants or is able to) change the scenerio and then each player determines which force to bring. This means that the defender really has the advantage and the attacker is left until the last minute before he knows which force he will be facing. So this was my rule over the PP standard one.
2. New regiments.
After reading players can only hire mimions or take an entire new detachment during the round. This is fine but, I asked, what if you want to change your x for y is that possible at all? It was after the entire round has finished. The warlocks remain the same but lists refresh (meaning in their terms - are rebuilt from scratch).
3. Adding points from War camps, Breeding Grounds etc.
My problem with this is that if you do it during the round it becomes unworkable. I have a 750 list which suddenly gets a 50 pts bonus to warbeasts. For Circle or Legion this means a new Argus or harrier or something but it is nothing for Skorne or Trollbloods. Their comment was that players could drop a light warbeast and upgrade it to a heavy. But according to their rules this really only in a 500 pt list where a heavy might have been left out and could be changed for a light to give a 550 pt list or at 1000 points where there would be some spare beast knocking around. Far better to declare it at the beginning of a round where points could be allocated and list could be created and have it that these points only come into play if the faction controls the spot as the round ends. Hence (when I get down to the club and see) there will be some bonus points to give out to players.

To get the campaign started I thought it better to ignore the special rules and just get round 1 going vanilla and the extra rules can kick in now. There were some other points where the clarity was a bit blurred but I think what we have now is quite workable.

No of course not - everything resets though you do check for bonds between warbeasts and warlocks developing.

For me better idea would be to purchase additional units for your detachments with points from warchest. If you just swap units, it kind of loses campaign feel.

Why not? It`s the same totem hunter and he collected some heads. One of the main ideas is that units develop if they can.

I actually thought that was the way it worked when I originally had the idea to run the campaign. But even in the printed rules it states clearly that the lists refresh after each round. I am not saying that this is better and I kind of agree with you but if you had a disasterous 3 rounds where you got your ass completely kicked by each of your opponents you'd probably never recover from it for the rest of the campaign. Fluff-wise I suppose it's like a large force with which warlocks take a detachment away to perform a single objective then they return and the surviving troops are put back into that large force and then are drawn from again. Also that large force receives regular reinforcements from roving units that hear the call of the faction. Anyway - sadly I am playing it correctly.

Yeah but he's done the whole predator thing; taken the totems to his lair - made pretty lampstands out of the skulls and the thrill of the hunt has now passed and he needs a new group of heads to get him all beefed up again. The only "experience" points kind of system is the Warbeast bonds.

Sto se mene tice to je OK, nema nikakvih uslova. Nastavljamo gde smo stali, tj. Boki je obznanio svoje mete, ja kazem da napada Skornu a zatim Trolblode.
Sto se prethodne diskusije tice, mislim da ne bi trebalo menjati pocetne ditachmente (Ok je da se oni obnove na kraju runde). Mozda bi mogli uvesti da kupujes dodatne jedinice za posojece ditachmente (placas iz warchesta, naravno)

OK,
Coming into effect in Round 2 are terrain advantages. In order to gain these you must own the terrain advantage at the beginning of the round. The following factions have the following advantages;

Trollbloods
- Foothold (Skorne and Everblight only) adds 5 points to your VP Warchest at the end of the round.
- Encampment (All factions) one detachment is allowed to be an 800 point list with 50 points extra worth of Units or Solos.

Orboros
- Encampment (All factions) one detachment is allowed to be an 800 point list with 50 points extra worth of Units or Solos.
- Minion Village (All factions) when hiring minions war chest points are worth 25 army points not 20.

Everblight
- Breeding Ground (All factions) one detachment is allowed to be an 800 point list with 50 points extra worth of Warbeasts.
- Hospice (All factions) once per battle a unit that normally would be removed from the detachment can be returned.

Skorne
- Breeding Ground (All factions) one detachment is allowed to be an 800 point list with 50 points extra worth of Warbeasts.
- Sacred Site Trollbloods and Orboros only) adds 5 points to your VP Warchest at the end of the round.

Moja je ideja da ne menjamo liste, ali da moze da se dokupljuju jedinice za detachmente do maksimalno 1000 poena. Jedinice se dokupljuju placanjem iz warchesta kao i minjoni.
Bojan i ja igramo nasu bitku u nedelju te Shunak ne bi bilo lose da objavis svoje liste, te se javis Djordju da i vi odigrate (ti napadas Djordja).

PS Shunak, ako se budes bavio terenima u Sigilu pre nedelje, isekao sam jedno 8" brdo od stirodura (na gomili je sa ostalim brdima) koje nam treba za scenario, pa ga zamalaj ako stignes.

8'' brda smo pravili jos za prethodni turnir. Trebalo bi da ima par komada. Osim ako je u pitanju brdo sa strmim ivicama. Takvih smo nedavno napravili gomilu, valjda ima neko i od 8''...

Uzeo sam danas knjigu pa cu da procitam pravila za kampanju.
Do kraja nedelje cu da objavim liste svoje svakako, a ako Djodrje moze, ja bi se igrao sa njim u nedelju.

Just so you know - you're supposed to be declaring the attack on him. The procedure is to look at the map and decide which region you're attacking and put the red pin marked 1 in it so that he can see where he's being attacked. Then declare with which detachment and with how many points are you attacking so that he can see. If he wishes he can raise the size of the battle but he then loses any terrain advantages he would have gotten (if any).

Orboros je uzeo teritoriju skorni. 24-4VP. Skorna je kupila mocvarce, te ima jos taj minus 3-4VP.
Sunak, objavi tvoje liste (i posalji mi sta ti treba od figura). Posalji mi i sta je Djordju umrlo u prosloj partiji i koji je rezultat bio.
Boki, objavi napad na Djordja, te se cuj s njim i dogovori partiju.

Ovako, u mecu mene i Djordja, ovo je ono sto je prezivelo:

Sto je nebitno jer sam mu ubio Doomshapera pa se taj detachment ne igra...

Tu sam osvojio 17 VP.
Pa sam potrosio 4 da bi kupio mocvarce za sledecu partiju.

Protiv Dalibora mi je izginulo sve, a osvojio sam 4 VPa tako da i dalje imam 17 (plus ako sam nasledio nesto od Ricka).
E, ja imam jos dve liste koje nisam zapisao zato sto hocu u njima da vodim modele koje tek treba da dobijem na zajam pa ne znam koliko kostaju (Tyrant Rhadeim, Tyrant&Standard Bearer, Molik Kaarn, Extoler Soulward)... Ono sto je sigurno je da ce jedna lista biti sa eMorghoul-om, druga sa pMakedom. Dakle Dalibore, dohvati pogledaj te karte, pa reci cene u pojenima, pa cu onda da sastavim liste. Ili daj link za neki armybuilder nesto nesto...

Proverio sam, Rick mi ostavio 25 poena, tako da sada ukupno imam 42.

Predlog je da zavrsimo ovu rundu kako smo poceli (Bojan-Shunka, Dalibor-Bjelajac), a da dalje nastavimo po MKII pravilima:
Vorloci isti, liste 50 poena (mogucnost kupovine novih detachmenta kao i do sada).
Sta mislite?
