Prvi deo, sledi jos:


Posto vidim da je freelancer tema opstala i da se broj igraca povecava, evo jos jednog pokusaja da navucem ljude na eve :)

Dakle koja je razlika izmedju freelancera koga svi znate kao kompjutersku igru i EVE-a?
Freelancer: besplatna od starta, imas jako mali broj ljudi online, vise arkadno orijentisana, i mnogo manje razvijena i odrzavana
EVE: placas u pocetku (15 doalra mesecno, ali imas 14 dana free trial, i takodje imas mogucnost placanja in-game parama za time code (mesec dana igranja), sto dodsue neces moci bas prvi mesec da radis), imas nikad ispod 10k ljudi online, a obicno oko 25-30k. Mozes da igras na milijardu nacina, a objasnjenje sledi.

Sta sve mogu da radim?
Pa za pocetak da kazem da imas 4 rase koje se ne razlikuju preterano mnogo po kvalitetu. Svaka rasa ima battleship-ove, svaka rasa ima cruiser-e,... jedina razlika je u tome koji su dobri za sta. E sad, pored rase, postoje i "klase", pa se shodno tome mozete opredeliti da budete fajter, industrijalac, trader i jos neke specijalne stvari koje cu objasniti. Okvirno, fajter radi NPC misije i bavi se Player VS Player upucavanjem, industrijalac kopa rude koje posle prodaje, ili ako se opredeli da se bavi i produkcijom, koje kasnije pretvara u iteme koje prodaje, a trader se bavi kupovinom jeftinog i prodavanjem za vece pare. Pored toga, mozete voditi svoju sopstvenu korporaciju za koje imate specijalnu grupu skillova.
Sve u svemu, za bilo sta da se opredelite jako tesko cete raditi sami. Zbog toga se ljudi udruzuju u korporacije, radi simultanog interesa.

Koji brodovi postoje?
Postoji jako veliki broj brodova koji se mogu opremiti na JAKO, JAKO, JAKO (da li sam spomenuo JAKO?) veliki broj nacina. Okvirno, svaki brod ima svoju ulogu, a evo i uproscenog spiska brodova:
Brodovi za misije:
Frigate (koriste se u lvl1 NPC misije) - vrlo brzi brodovi sa slabim oklopom i malim naoruzanjem
Cruiseri (koriste se u lvl 2 NPC misijama) - sporiji brodovi sa jacim naoruzanjem od frigata i bolje oklopljeni.
Battlecruiser (koriste se u lvl 3 misijama) - spori, ali jako oklopljeni i dobro naoruzani brodovi. Njihova specijalnost su warfare linkovi, koje ostali brodovi ne mogu da opreme, koji se koriste u gang-ovima (grupa ljudi koja se okupi da bi nesto radila zajedno).
Battleship (koriste se u lvl 3 i 4 misijama) - veoma spori brodovi opremljeni za fajt.

Pored ovih destroyeri se ponekad koriste kao napredne verzije frigata. Destroyeri imaju mnogo vise pucanja i prave veci damage ali pucaju malo sporije. Takodje, bilo koji brod koji ima pucanje se moze koristiti za misije, mada to nije obicaj.

Prenosenje (prevoz robe sa tacke a na b):
Industrial (najcesce korisceni) - jako brzo mozete nauciti da koristite ove brodove. Otprilike nema korporacije koja ne vozi industrialce. Kako napredujete sa skillovima, otvarace vam se naprednije verzije, koje mogu da prevezu veci teret odjednom. Ako se opredelite da se ovime bavite, najbolji izbor bi bio da uzmete gallente rasu, jer oni imaju najboljeg industrijalca, mada i najzahtevnijeg po skillovima.
Trading (retko korisceni) - brodovi specijalne namene. Fora kod njih je sto imaju ugradjene warp core stabilizere u svoj core (u prevodu koriste se za transport sredstava iz sistema koje ne stiti policija, kako bi vas igraci koji igraju piratske likove tese ubili). Generalno imaju veci cargo kapacitet od industrijalaca ali i mnogo vise kostaju (50tak puta)
Freighter (ne razmisljajte o ovome jos) - brodovi namenjeni iskljucivo za transport. Veoma su spori (veoma, veoma), ali prevoze enormne kolicine tereta. Generalno srednje i male korporacije obicno imaju jednog u svom hangaru. JAKO mnogo kostaju i JAKO su zahtevni u skillovima, ali sa druge strane JAKO mnogo prevoze.

Mining:
Barge (brodovi specijalno namenjeni kopanju) - ovi brodovi nisu ni od jedne rase, tako da svaka rasa ima ista tri broda na raspolaganju. Njihova prednost je sto mogu da koriste speijane mining lasere koji kopaju najbrze rudu u igri. Slabo su zasticeni i veoma spori, a od NPC pirata koji dolaze u asteroidne beltove u kojima kopate se brane dronovima koje mogu da imaju.
Exhumer (napredne barge) - ultimativna oruzja kopanja. Ja igram nekih 10tak meseci i tek cu sada sesti u najboljeg exhumera. Za razliku od barzi, svaki exhumer je namenjen za neku specijalnu vrstu rudarenja, medjutim najbolji exhumer je i dalje najbolji (i kosta boga oca in-game para). Pa tako ima exhumer koji je namenjen kopanju jedne specijalne rude, i ni za sta drugo se i ne koristi, exhumer za kopanje Ice-a, koji se koristi samo za to i kosta 5 puta manje od najboljeg exhumera, i najbolji exhumer koji radi SVE sto se kopanja tice.

Pored ovih, neke rase imaju i cruiser-e i/ili frigate specijalno namenjene za kopanje. Frigate za kopanje koriste pocetnici, dok se kruzeri koriste i za okopavanje sistema u kojima nema policije, jer su bolje oklopljeni od barzi i exhumera i brzi su pa tako brze i pobegnu. Naravno ova dva cuda kopaju MNOGO manje rude od najbolje barze recimo. Medjutim cruisre sa dobrim skillovima je priblizno jednak barzi drugu nivoa (ja mislim da niko i ne koristi osnovnu barzu, jer se skillovi za tu drugu brzo razvijaju)

Za fajt se koriste svi brodovi koji nisu industrijalci ili kopaci, tako da tu necu nista specijalno napominjati (generalno svaki brod moze da bude koristan i da ubije brodove koje su u vecoj klasi od njega - sve zavisi kako si ti i kako je protivnik opremljen), ali evo kratkog spiska brodova koje nisam spomenuo:
Assault ship - napredne frigatice. Njihova fora je sto jako dobro tankuju damage, te se jako tesko ubijaju. Brze i imaju dobar potencijal za ubijanje.
Covert Ops - brodovi namenjeni za skautovanje. Imaju opremu koja im omogucava da su nevidljivi. VRlo su slabi u pucanju, ali ako tvoja korporacija udje u rat, necete daleko stici bez njih.
Dreadnought - zverke za unistavanje stanica koje kontrolisu igraci. Jaca verzija battleshipa. Ne mogu da se koriste u sistemima koje kontrolise policija. Jako zahtevni u skillovima, i jako skupi. Ogroman firepower.
Heavy assault ships - napredna verzija assault shipa.
Interceptors - napredne frigate. Koriste se u timovima. Najbrzi brodovi u igri. Ekstremno slabo oklopljeni, ali su toliko brzi da ne mogu da vas pogode. Ekipa od 5 komada moze bez problema da srusi losije opremljenog battleshipa.
Interdictor - napredni destroyer-i... Ne bih nista dalje pricao o njima.. Retko su korisceni, sto ne znaci i da su losi.
Logistics - brodovi specijalno namenjeni za pomoc drugim brodovima, cesto ih zovu cleric ships. Po mogucnostima su u klasi cruiser-a, mada ih retko koriste za bilo sta osim healing.
Recon - electronic warfare brodovi. Razlicite rase imaju razlicite svrhe za recon brodove. U klasi cruiser-a. Generalno koriste se da nesto zajebu kod protivnickog broda. Najcesce se koriste u gangovima, mada kod nekih rasa pojedinac u recon brodu moze da bude vrlo zajebat
Shuttle - smejurija koja ima neke specijalne namene, ali najcesce se koristi kada vas upucaju da dodjete od mesta na kome vam je klon do mesta u kome imate neki brod. Ranije su imali svrhu za pravljenje nekih mapa, ali ne vise.
Titan - najveci brod u igri. Ima ih svega par u celoj igri, i ne razmisljajte o njemu.
Carrier - spadaju u napredne brodove. Koriste se kao pomoc drugim brodovima i za fajt sa dronovima jer mogu jako mnogo dronova da nose koji jako dobro biju.
Command ship - napredni brodovi u klasi battlecruiser-a. Imaju dosta vece mogucnosti od battlecruiser-a ali i mnogo vece zahteve u skillovima.

Sta su korporacije i cemu sluze?
Pre svega postoje npc i pc korporacije.
Npc korporacije imaju agente kod kojih radite misije i time povecavate svoj ugled kod te korporacije. Od ugleda vam zavisi sa kojim nivoom agenata cete moci da radite, da li cete moci da podignete jump klona kod njih, a neke npc korporacije imaju i research agente. Jump klonovi su drugi/treci/... mozak u okviru istog tela. Namena im je da mozete da skocite veliku daljinu od jednom bez prolazaka kroz sve te sisteme. Zahtevaju veliki ugled. Radom za agente povecavate vas ugled i dobijate loyalty poene. KAda skupite veci broj loyalty poena agent ce vam nuditi razne ponude koje mogu biti JAKO dobre. Generalno, sto je veci nivo agenta dobijate vise loyalty poena od jednom, veci ugled, ali i misije traju duze i teze su. Lvl 4 misije retko radite sami, one se obicno rade u timu i vrlo dugo traju. Nakon sto izvrsite odredjen broj misija (okvirno 15) dobijate specijal;nu misiju koja vam dize standing sa vasom frakcijom. To je veoma korisno, a najveca namena je za podizanje POS (player owned structure) u safe sistemima (one koje cuva policija). POS je dosta zahtevan ali i dosta koristan. Vecina korporacija ima jedan ili vise u zavisnosti od velicine korporacije.
Research agenti su jako bitni. Kod njih se bavite istrazivanje neke grane nauke i time ucestvujete u tech 2 lutriji. Svi itemi u igri su podeljeni na tech 1 i tech 2. Da bi napravili bilo koji item morate imati blueprint. Tech 1 bluprinte moze svako da kupi na marketu, dok tech 2 bluprinte dobijate samo kod research agenata i postoji samo 20 blueprint-a za jedan isti item u igri u bilo kom trenutku (a postoji 5000 zvezdanih sistema rasporedjenih u 65+ regija... znaci jedan na svaku trecu regiju). Ko uspe da dobije tech 2 blueprint, omogucio je sebi jako mnogo para. Medjutim, sada je uvedena nova fora kako moze da se dodje to tech 2 itema na drugi nacin, naravno mnogo tezi i zahtevniji, ali to prakticno ukida monopolizam.

PC korporacije mogu imati mnoge svrhe, ali u svakom slucaju EVE je igra u kojoj trebate igrati grupno da biste postigli najbolje rezultate. Sto vise brodova imate u ekipi, vise dopunjujete jedni druge, pa su shodno tome i rezultati za svakoga pojedinacno bolji. VAZNO: kada se pridruzujete korporacijama, vodite racuna koliki porez uzimaju, jer ima ljudi koji prave korporacije da bi novim i neiskusnim igracima odrali kozu sa ledja!

Sta su to sistemi koje cuva policija i kakvi sve postoje:
Svaki sistem se nalazi u okviru neke regije i svaka regija ima izvestan broj sistema u sebi. Neke regije se nalaze u okviru Imperije, dok su neke van nje. Svaki sistem ima svoj security status. Oni van imperije se rangiraju od -1 do 0, a oni u imperiji od 0 do 1. Samo sistemi 0.5+ imaju policiju i tu ste apsolutno sigurni (osim ako vasa korporacija nije u ratu - policija se ne mesa u ratove). Ako vas tu bilo ko napadne ulece policija i razbuca ga za cirka 5 sekundi. Pored policije, postoje i sentry guns, koji se za razliku od policije mogu naci i u 0.4-0.0 sistemima. Sentry gunovi se nalaze samo oko svemirskih stanica i stargate-ova (kapija koje vas prebacuju iz sistema u sistem.. vise opisa sledi). Medjutim sentry gunovi nece biti dovoljni da sruse ozbiljnije brodove, tako da 0.4-0.0 sistemi ipak nisu sigurni. Sto je sistem manjeg security status-a, to se bolje rude nalaze u njegovim asteropidnim beltovima, ali su i NPC brodovi koji se spawn-uju sa vremena na vreme, jaci.
Sistemi koji se nalaze unutar regija koje su van granica Imperije su free for all: znaci nema pravila, nema sentry gunova, nema policije, i mozete upucati bilo koga a da vam ne opadne security status vaseg lika. Iako u 0.0-0.4 sistemima mozete upucavati druge (sto se naziva pirativanje) vas security status opada, pa ce vam tako biti prvo zabranjen ulaz u 1.0 sisteme (doci ce policija da vas juri, i svako sme da vas upuca bez posledica), pa zatim 0.9 pa 0.8..... a problem je u tome sto vecinu item-a necete naci u 0.4 i manjim (po security-ju) sistemima, sto je zaista veliki problem. Vodite racuna da vecina igraca one -1 do 0 sisteme naziva 0.0.
Unutar svakog sistema se moze nalaziti nula ili vise NPC stanica koje ne mogu da se ubiju (enginge za igru je tako napravljen - ne bez razloga). Retki su sistemi bez stanica. Svaki sistem je povezan sa jednim ili vise suseda preko stargate-ova. Tako da bi ste dosli iz jedne u drugu regiju, morate proci kroz X sistema jer nisu svi sistemi povezani. Takodje, nisu sve regije povezane jedna sa drugom pomocu sistema, pa cete tako morati da procete kroz jako mnogo regija da bi dosli recimo sa juga na sever.

Kako se razvijam
Vas lik ima 5 osnovnih karakteristika (inteligencija, memorija, karizma, percepcija i willpower). Za sve posotje skillovi (KOJI SE RAZVIJAJU I DOK STE OFFLINE!!!). Svaki skill ima osnovni requisite i sekundarni. Sto su vam karakteristike primarnog i sekundarnog requisite-a bolji, to brze ucite taj skill. Razliciti skillovi imaju razlicite vremenske modifikatore (mnozioce). Svaki skill mozete razviti od lvl 1 do lvl 5. Razliciti skillovi imaju i razlicite skill prerequisite. Neki i nemaju. Generalno za skill-ove sa multiplier-om 1 vam za lvl 1 treba 10tak minuta, za lvl 2 60 minuta, za lvl 3 6 sati, za lvl 4 dan, za lvl5 7 dana.

Takodje, stvari koje postavite na market se mogu prodavati i dok ste offline, stvari koje graite se grade i dok ste offline.... znaci svet postoji i dok ste vi offline... nije kao u WoW da zavisite od toga koliko ste online - vasi skillovi se razvijaju i dok ste offline, pa tako budala koja krene da igra u isto vreme kao i vi ali ima 24h dnevno vremena da se igra nece biti X puta ispred vas.

Market je player controlled!

Eh da, i ono sto vas najvise interesuje koliko brzo mogu da zaradim 100 miliona mesecno - zavisi sta igrate, kao fajter/pirat od samo jednog upucavanja mozete dobiti item koji vredi 100 miliona, a mozete i ceo mesec nista korisno da ne upucate. Kao trader ne znam da kazem - zavisi koliko truda ulozite. Generalno ako dosta setate po regijama, mozete dosta brzo naci nesto sto se u jednoj regiji jeftino kupuje a u drugoj prodaje za vise para. Ja sam danas za nekoliko sati kopanja recimo zaradio 20tak miliona u mineralima (+ 10-20% kada to pretvorim u iteme (ja se bavim proizvodnjom brodova)). Okvirno, nakon 3-6 meseci igranja bi trebali da budete sposobni da za 4-5 dana igranja zaradite mesecnu pretplatu. NPC misije lvl3 i lvl4 donose dosta para, tako da je to mozda najsigurniji nacin za zaradjivanje para.

Eh da, CD sa instalacijom je besplatan i moze skinuti sa neta, ili vam ga moze neko narezati, a vi posle samo skinitie poslednju verziju patch-a. Svaki update je besplatan, placa se samo mesecna pretplata. Sve radi na dial-up-u sasvim lepo (veliki fajtovi 30 na 30 i veci ce vam seckati).

Za kraj, ako imate bilo kakva pitanja ili vam treba bilo kakav savet da pocnete igru, samo pitajte... ima jos mnogo toga sto ovde nije napisano... ovo je samo kratko objasnjenje.

Pa, sada kada je port 26000 na mom netu otvoren, verovatno krecem da igram (samo da vidim da li ce i za koji dan biti tako).

Samo me potseti, koja ste rasa burazer i ti, da bih poceo blizu.

Pa minmatari naravno, kakvo je to pitanje uopste :P .... Javi mi se na LP kad krenes da igras da ti pomognem oko sklapanja lika (kamo srece da je meni imao ko da pomogne :? ) jerbo je VRLO vazno sta biras u startu. I dobro razmisli cime planiras da se bavis PRE nego sto sastavis lika ;)...

Jel planiras da placas parama ili sto pre da stignes do 100 mil/mesec ?

edit: i jel to bratsko druzenje ili samostalno?

edit2: moram ti napomenuti da su minmatarski borbeni brodovi najzahtevniji po skillovima. Njihova prednost je sto su najbrzi u igri i imaju prilicno mnogo dronova (frigate mislim da nemaju ni kod koga). E sad kad se odlucis sta hoces da radis ti javi pa da ti dalje objasnim sta je sta ;)

Nego, apropo igre, mene je strasno smorila. Probao sam onaj dvonedeljni besplatan trial i u prva dva dana je izgledalo neverovatno sjajno. Do kraja prve nedelje sam bio siguran da ocu da se pretplatim kad mi istekne trial. Do desetog dana sam vec poceo da se smaram zbog repetitivnosti i cinjenice da jedino sta zaista mogu da radim je mlatim pare i uclanim se u neku korporaciju da bi mogao jos para da mlatim; eventualno se bijem sa drugom korporacijom oko 0.0 security sistema (koji sluze za mlacenje para). Zadnja dva dana nisam ni iskoristio, previse me smorilo.

Ko voli nek izvoli, i dalje tvrdim da je EVE najbolji MMORPG ikad napravljen. Samo sam do sada vec vrlo siguran da ja mrzim MMORPG-ove. Osim Guild Wars, koji i nije MMORPG.

Bio bih vrlo zainteresovan da mi objasnis kako nakon 14 dana igranja ( u stvari 12 po tvom) mozes da imas lika koji moze da ide u 0.0 :lol: ... Ja igram skoro godinu dana i dole se jos nisam spustio, niti cu barem jos pola godine ako ne i vise.... osim naravno ako ne dobijem neku carobnu formulu kako za 12 dana da imam dovoljno skillova da breakujem kampove u ulaz 0.0 :lol: ... evo cak sam spreman da izmenim svoj skill que za tih 12 dana :lol: .... I nisam bas siguran koliko si mogao da osetis cari igre za 12 dana, ali naravno 100 ljudi 100 cudi, pa shodno tome ne mora ni da znaci da ce svima biti interesantna, zato i sluzi tih 14 dana trial, zar ne ;) ?

A igra nije preterano zanimljiva ako je igras sam, to priznajem... Postaje interesantnija sto je vise ljudi ;)... zato se i zove Massive Multiplayer Online ;)

Eh da, za ove zainteresovane, zaboravio sam da napomenem da pri pravljenju lika, pored rase plus ancestry-ja, imate i 5 poena koje mozete da raspodelite po statovima po zelji, s tim sto ne mozete da stavite vise od 3 na jedan stat.

edit: takodje, trudite se da sto vise relevantnih statova doterate na 11, ili barem 10, pri kreaciji lika, jer ce to kasnije tokom igre biti bitno...

Vrlo jednostavno - nemam lika koji moze da ide u 0.0 security sisteme. Nit' sam to rekao u prvom postu. No, sad ispade da dodjoh na temu da pljujem po igri, sto mi nikako nije bila namera. Igra je vizuelno jako lepa i ima privlacnu atmosferu. Samo htedoh da podelim moja iskustva sa drugima apropo gameplay komponente.

Zubore, pomeren je patch, tako da cu ti sutra poneti opet CD ;)... Ostavio sam ga na multisession, tako da mogu da ti dorezujem vece patch-eve ;)... Za nas sa jeftinijom ulaznicom (dial-up - om) moj link na poslu sasvim lepo skine bilo sta in no time ;). Cucemo se sutra, pa cemo i da se vidimo ;)

Sutra i prekosutra sam lancima vezan za kancelariju iz prostog razloga sto cu biti jedina (operativna) osoba u njoj :(. Ali u PETAK ... uzimam disk :mrgreen: ... jos su me danas obradovali ovi pajseri iz Euneta i kazu da na Tosinom Bunaru, 26. Februara pocinje prosirenje ADSL portova :mrgreen: :lol: :D

Zubore, zubore. A ja te ttrazim po EVE-u jos od ponedeljka :lol: .
Ja bih hteo da se osvrnem sa svoje tacke gledista na EVE online :roll:: Svako ko je igrao ELITE na spektrumu ili commodore-u (ili freelancer na pc) i kome se to svidelo, nema sanse da ne zavoli EVE. Ustvari, EVE je elite, samo umesto kompjutera imas gomilu igraca, sto je po meni plus.

Po meni je to i jedina MMORPG igra koja me evo drzi zainteresovanim 10 meseci, bez nagovestaja da ce mi dosaditi.
Prednost (naravno, opet po mom misljenju) u odnosu na wow i guild wars bi bila ta sto te smrt kosta (u zavisnosti od toga sta si vozio u trenutku upucavanja), dok kod ove dve se ponovo spawnujes kao da nista nije ni bilo (opet imas sve iteme koje si imao i ranije, samo su ti statovi spusteni narednih 10-ak minuta). Konstatacija da se sve vrti oko para (ISK) je tacna, ali pare su sredstvo za postizanje ciljeva a ne cilj, i same po sebi ne znace nista. Ako te ubiju u Battleship-u, to te kosta, i ne mozes se tek tako ponovo spawnovati i za deset minuta kao da se nista nije desilo. Moraces ponovo da ZARADIS taj battleship koji si izgubio, i ponovo da ga opremis, kao i da ponovo postavis sve one lepe implante u glavu, sto i nije bas lak i brz proces. To, po meni cini igru kompleksnijom, jer nikako neces hteti da srljas na sve sto ti padne na pamet, nego ces dobro da promislis o svojim potezima pre nego sto ih napravis. Sledeca stvar koja je po meni bolja nego u ostalim igrama, sto se tvoj lik razvija bez obzira dal si online ili ne. Znaci, nije potrebno da sedis ispred racunara 24/7 dok ne dostignes 60-70 ili 20 nivo, vec tvoj lik uci i kada ti nemas vremena da se posvetis igri. . Nivoi nas dovode do sledece prednosti, jer ih u EVE-u nema. U EVE-u je skoro nemoguce dovesti svog lika na nivo maksimalnog razvitka u svim mogucim disciplinama jer ima toliko skilova da je po nekim procenama potrebno 4-5 godina da sve izucis (za jednu rasu) . Ali to je po sadasnjim kriterijumima, a skilovi se konstantno dodaju, tako da prakticno nikada ne mozes sve da istrazis.

Zubore, ajde probaj sledeci put kada si u igri da ukucas:

ctrl+alt+shift+e
ctrl+alt+shift+f

To bi trebalo da ti pogasi efekte, pa vidi da li ce tada raditi bolje... moja graficka mene zeza kada sam u velikoj misiji sa mnogo efekata na ekranu, ali kada ovo iskljucim sve radi kako treba.

Takodje mozes da pokusas da iskljucis i muziku:

escape, pa predjes na audio tab, pa iskljucis audio enabled checkbox.

To moze da bude jos mali bonus... inace, jer ti je grafika integrisana na ploci?

Eram ti je manji hub... kao trader tu ces definitivno zeleti da ostanes... ;) radi misije za core complexion... oni imaju R&D agente koji su uglavnom oko erama (svi su ja mislim u 2 jumpa od erama) sto nije obicaj za korporaije ;)... rifter ti je odlican za lvl 1 misije... samo ako naletis na misiju: The Blockade, to ne znam da li ces moci da zavrsis... nju preskoci...

War of New Eden

NEW EDEN - The southern regions of New Eden have become engulfed in an epic war that has seen former enemies come together against a common foe, the Band of Brothers (BoB) and Lotka Volterra (LV). The war threatens to upset the balance of power in the galaxy, and has so far seen some staggering losses on both sides. BoB has long since declared that dominating all non-secure space has been their long- term goal, and no alliance has yet been able to stop their advances. Only now has a Coalition emerged to attempt to halt them in their tracks. The question remains; can they succeed where others have failed?

At times referred to as the “Great South War”, the conflict has pitted a majority of alliances against a numerically inferior but in the main, more experienced foe. This war is no different from the ones that rage daily in our homes and far-flung systems alike; except that the manner of which it is being fought is reminiscent of the old Corporation Wars that lurk in the shadows of history.


The pod pilot community has long become accustomed to the rise and fall of entities, be they corporations that have written themselves into history with their actions or alliances with the power to be that story. With the four Empires involved in their own perpetual struggles and unwilling, or even perhaps unable to stop the onslaught, it has fallen upon the capsuleer pilots to self-govern. The growing concern amongst those few remaining independent alliances and the lingering discontent displayed by those displaced by BoB’s to date, rarely impeded advances have culminated finally, in all out war.


To fully understand the complex political situation, we shall be offering an in-depth analysis of the conflict from a variety of perspectives. Covering the war from the view of the pod pilots fighting, report on why they chose to be at war, and why they chose the side they are on.

Fighting has still been very intense on both sides, with major losses of both territory and ships. Of significance is:


Southern Front Battlefield Theatre – Querious


Coalition forces have attacked multiple systems in Querious, with 9CG6-H being the focal point of their offensive. At this time no stations have changed hands, despite almost daily losses of starbases around the region. Both sides have devoted much of their resources to the defence of their own starbases, understanding their tactical importance as both regroup points for fleets and safe havens for capitals, essential for a foothold in the region.


FIX are believed to have hired KIA alliance (exact figures are unknown, but unconfirmed sources have put the mercenary alliance’s bill at 5.7 billion isk for their services) to attempt to sever the Coalition forces supply routes to Querious.


ED-L9T


So far a BoB/FIX capital fleet has engaged and destroyed 6 RZR/MM/IRON Dreadnoughts for the loss of one large tower and three more placed into reinforced mode.




Eastern Front Battlefield Theatre – Detorid, Wicked Creek, Tenerifis, and Omist


Coalition forces destroyed a Lotka Volterra capital shipyard. Widespread rumours alleged that a Titan class ship under construction was destroyed – the numbers of those involved reaching staggering proportions lends credence to the assertions. Red Alliance reinforcements ultimately prevailed on the field and the loss of the Allied shipyards seems to have dampened LV's will to fight and set off a negative chain reaction that now has the predators of Eve likely hunting for a new home.


N3-JBX/KZFV-4


An LV and BoB fleet moved to assault KZFV-4 and was repelled by a larger IAC fleet. IAC/GS held the field in KZFV-4.


C3-0YD


An LV and ISS capital fleet destroyed an IAC Nyx-class Mothership.




Western Front Battlefield Theatre – Fountain


Initially Coalition forces captured the outpost system of 7BX-6F in northern Fountain and were met with spirited but ultimately ineffective resistance. Their attempts to push forward were held back when Allied forces arrived, who then retook the 7BX-6F station.


The loss of the station was compounded by the destruction of a Coalition Titan from D2. In a spectacular display of the value of subterfuge, a spy prevented the super-capital ship from safely leaving space and, having been probed out; a BoB fleet engaged and destroyed the behemoth, the second ship of its class to fall prey to them. Although Coalition forces have suffered some heavy losses and setbacks, their resolve remains unbroken and the appearance of a second Titan recently has shown a willingness to continue their campaign despite the heaviest of losses.


Allied forces in the area are currently holding the tide of Coalition forces back with the help of the second Allied Titan of the BoB fleet.



Despite the significant losses of both ships and territory in these opening stages of the war, many agree that a final conclusion is both difficult to ascertain and a long way off. The almost unprecedented resolve of both sides in this war to come out as victors lends weight to the frequent claims that this will be a epic, protracted war of attrition that will see many more losses, and test the fortitude of all involved parties.!

Ovi likovi su se okupili u relativno skupim brodovima i izvrshili samoubilachki napad na brod za koji se zna da transportuje ratni materijal neprijatelju.

izgubili su brodovlje u vrednosti 500mil do 1bil ISK, ali shteta koja je nanesena toj korporaciji je verovatno sto puta veca (>10.000. eura) Da ne prichamo o psiholoshkom efektu, kao i padu efektivnosti logistichke podrshke BoD-a, jer ce morati da zhrtvuju brzinu transporta u zamenu za bezbednost."

Evo da i ja izjavim nesto za ovaj dnevnik ili kako god vec :)

Imam 3 acc. u igri:

2. StarijiVodnik
3. Specijalac

A pripadam corpu koji se zove SRBI i inace boravimo u Venalu i Tribute gde volim da i provodim najvise vremena u M-o gde i inace cekamo Neute i KOS da nam dodje u posetu :)

Sta reci nego da EvE igram dosta dugo uz jednu malo duzu pauzu posto sam imo tu nesrecu da krenem da igram WoW koji sam igro nesto kratko oko 15 meseci i posle nekih 6 likova od lvl 60 ja sam se smorio te igre i resio da se ipak ja vratim proverenim vrednostima i da nastavim da igram EvE i nisam se pokajo zbog toga.

Nije mi tesko sto vodim 3 acc. vec naprotiv se osecam ko dete kada mu ponudis kolac a njemu oci ko lubenice :)

Volio sam da igram Elite na Comodore 64 ali za EvE nemam reci vec da je to igra koju sam zeljno ceko i doceko i nadam se da cu je igrati sto duze.

Jedinu manu koju bih naveo za igru je ta sto iziskuje dosta vremena i vuce te da se sto vise udaljujes iz stvarnog zivota i da se sve vise posvecujes samoj igri tako da na nama samima ostaje da odlucimo kako cemo provesti svoje vreme :)

PS. ja sam odlucio red je i na tebe :wink:

Pozdravi Stevakisa i Al Hazreda ;)... znaci imamo jos jednog koji je u korporaciji koja dere usi :lol: (Srbi naplacuju 30% poreza... nekako standardno za nas, zar ne :lol: .... doduse imaju pristup u 0.0 bez ratovanja, tako se tu ipak ima racun...)

Ja sam zainteresovan za Eve i veceras skidam igru
Jedini je problem jer jos nemam nacin placanja preko interneta
postoji li kakva caka da se zaobidje to placanje
a i trebao bi mi neko da me uvede u igru da ne lutam bezveze
