There's a (relatively) new game that's come out called Uncharted Seas by Spartan Games. Small fleet based miniatures.

I saw the game demo'd at a Birmingham games convention and as it's quite new there's not much to collect. Is anyone interested in investing in a starter to give it a go? I'm ordering the Thaniras Elves and it would be great to have someone to play against. The starter costs about 3000 din and you typically get 9 ships for that; a battleship, 2 Cruisers and 6 Frigates. With all the Pirates players out there hopefully I can find someone interested.

Count me in for Imperial Humans - House Dragutin! Rick it will be great if we can find enough people to take mega bundle - (elves, human, dwarf, orcs) as we will get nice discount and some templates and rules...

Zar battle fleet gothic nije bolja verzija iste igre?

edit: a i kad smo vec kod BFG, da li ce Sigil nabavljati isti? Imam haos flotu, pa mozda da obrisem prasinu sa iste (ako uspem da nadjem gde su mi te figure :oops: ), ako jos neko bude skupljao...

edit2: u stvari, specialist games generalno da li ce se nabavljati?

Pitanje verovatno nije za ovaj topik, te molim moderatora da ga premesti na neki koji vise odgovara, ali ajde da pitam: hoce li i kad poceti sa igranjem warhammera u sigilu? Mozda, ali bas mozda bi i ja otresao prasinu s delfova....

BFG je fenomenalna igra i mislim da bi bilo ekstra da Sigil malo pogura celu pricu.

Dwarves are actually the cheapest faction so we should find someone to pick them up. @Duc - I is the Elves - Elves get dragons. This time I'm picking my faction rather than opting for the one that no one plays. Shall I order in the Undead for Dule - he's bound to go for them. I'll try and get the pack but (funnily enough) my stockist doesn't list it in his catalog. It might just be their online shop special.

Dragon Lords are Elvish....
And that was Chav English not Tarzan English - Tarzan wouldn't have added the continuous form of the verb on playing. He was very specific on grammar.

mate I have looked at all ships and I like Elves
i think that there is no problem to have two fleets of same race/army whatever
and I have always played Elves in all fantasy games

Dude, Chavs are an international phenomenon. They are like Internet trolls or emo kids. Granted, no one actually saw a Chav, because they are UK-exclusive apparently, but you can't be online and not know about them.

There was a fantastic site called Chav Scum but it has been removed. Alas. It is good to see that the focus was entirely centred on the game I'm interested in and not the peripherals.

@Skobra, Damjan and the Dwarf playing Duc. If I can't get the bumper deal are you still interested in starters?

Battle Fleet Gothic. Warhammer 40K game using ships.
'Specialist Games' means that it is no longer available to buy in shops and has to be ordered directly. This is not to be confused with 'Special Interest' which are the kind of hobbies that need to be done in a dark room and usually involve a long overcoat. And no DG, I don't mean Vampire LARP.

No, I already have big fleet for BFG (battleship, 5-6 cruisers and I think some 6-7-8 frigates), so I asked if Sigil would be "stocking" and "promoting" those games (BFG, and other specialist games).

And also, what is the Sigil's policy about playing those games in Sigil?

BFG is really quite different from 40k

Dzon - Sorry - didn't realise. Of course you can play BFG at Sigil - the store is open to any and all games. and no I believe Sigil won't be stocking specialist games. I cannot say anything further as if I say they will be available for ordering someone will delete this post.

Skobra - Cool. The reason why I ask is that I don't want this to be another Helldorado.

I'll try and get a bundle starter plus a Dragon Lord Starter for me (sulkingly I will turn over the Elves to Pedja). Failing that I'll order just starters for everyone (Imperial, Orcs, Elves, Dragon Lords) and we can get them painted and start seeing if the games any good.

These little ships look hot! (not that i would play any of these, but if undead come around...).

We know that you have been waiting sometime for this announcement, so I won't talk too much before giving you the details. 2010 is going to be an exciting year for Uncharted Seas and one we very much hope you will enjoy as much as we will.
