News from PSC HQ:-

LOTS OF LOVELY, FANTASTIC UNIT AND ARMY DEALS FOR CHRISTMAS! FIND THEM IN THE FEATURED PRODUCTS SECTION.

In addition, we have added the Zvezda 15mm/ 1 100th range of plastic vehicles alongside our range (again with some great value unit deals) and in the Rulesets section the excellent new second edition of "I Ain't Been Shot Mum" ruleset from the worthy and venerable (ish) Too Fat Lardies stable.

The 15mm Stug III F8/G has been a ticklish little devil. We had a slight production delay due to a perfect storm at the factory of busiest time of year, illness and holiday. Then when we had just gone into production we found a small problem with the idler wheel and the tool has had to go back to the toolroom for a tweak. The tool data has been tweaked but it has now got to wait a couple of days as the tooling machines are finishing off the 1/72nd M4A1 75mm Sherman kit! The Stug tool should be back in the moulding press by friday with production starting next week. Apologies to all for the delay. I think it is nice to have a release date but in future if a kit is not ready by the set release date i will move the date so the kit remains in the upcoming products section.

The upshot is we are going to have the 15mm Stug III F8/G, 15mm Panzer III F,G and H, and 1/72nd Sherman M4A1 75mm kits all released about the same time. I am releasing the Panzer III kit on 18th November and i am hoping to have the first boxes at Warfare, Reading 19th/20th November (come and see me at the show!). It is available for pre-order in the upcoming products section below. If it is not ready on the 18th i will move the release date and let everyone know.

The 15mm Panther and 15mm Sherman M4A4 + Firefly kits are designed and in the tooling queue but will not make people's Christmas stockings. A nice present to oneself to beat the January Blues. We are putting Panther G, A and D variants on the sprue.

With our Autumn tankfest behind us, my design team are finishing off the Late War German Heavy Weapons, 15mm first then 1/72nd, and then 15mm Russian Heavy Weapons and 15mm Russian 45mm gun for release early next year.

Some more goodies for January - the first 15mm decal sets (SS, Wehrmacht and DAK Panzer Divisions, Allied units soon after), some plastic base sets and a new "Reinforcements" range where you can buy single vehicle sprues to complete units, HQs etc.

News from PSC HQ:-

We are delighted to announce the launch of our "Reinforcements" Range of 15mm single vehicle sprues to help round out units and provide HQs. Priced at £4.99 a vehicle, the range kicks off with T34, Panzer III F,G,H, Panzer IV F1, F2, G, H, Stug III F8/G, SdKfz 251/C, SdKfz 251/D, Sherman M4A1 75mm, Sherman M4A1 76mm Wet and Sherman M4A2.

The 1/72nd M4A1 75mm Sherman is looking good for end of next week and the 15mm Sherman M4A4 + Firefly kit is on target for debut at Cavalier, Tonbridge on 26th February.

Talking of shows - i will be at Vapnartak, York this Sunday 5th February with a stand groaning under the weight of PSC and Zvezda goodies including our new 15mm Panther, the Reinforcements range and a plethora of great value unit and army deals.

15mm Late War German Heavy Weapons and 15mm Russian Heavy Weapons are on schedule for March.

April is looking good for 15mm Late War German Infantry Heavy Weapons, 1/72nd Sherman M4A1 76mm Wet and 1/72nd 251/D Halftrack.

May/June will see the 251 conversion kits in 15mm and 1/72nd, 1/72nd Late War German Heavy Weapons. We are having some fun trying to fit all the variants we want on one sprue for the 251 conversion kits so we are splitting them out into 2 kits. The first will have Pak 37 Platoon commander, Stummel (late type), mortar and flamm and the second will be a pioneer kit with pioneer and wuhrammen "stuka am fuss" conversions and a number of combat engineer foot figures with man pack flamethrowers, mine detectors etc, goliath and borgward remote control demolition vehicles.

On the radar - 15mm Tiger Is, Panzer III J,L,M,N, KV1/2, T60/70s, Stuarts, Churchills, M3/5 halftracks British and US Infantry; 1/72nd Universal carriers, Stuarts and US Infantry plus artillery, towed and self propelled, 15mm and 1/72nd.

A lot of you have been asking when we will be moving onto 15mm Brits and Yanks. My plan is to round out the Eastern Front - Soviet and German - a bit more and then to focus on 15mm Brits and Yanks summer/autumn.

A little teaser: I love my artillery - anyone fancy a bit of "God of War"?

Btw, Panteru su im fenomenalni. Zao mi je sto ih necu praviti. Imam ih vec u armiji vise nego sto mogu da ih field-ujem.

Meni su se zamjerili sa dvodijelnim gusjenicama jer sam izgubio puno živaca kod sastavljanja Shermana, a i fali mi težina kada primim model.
Baš bih naručio Panthere i nekako mi je puno dati €54 za box tako da ću možda ipak uzeti Plastic Soldier. Forged in battle modeli isto nisu loši, samo su sva 4 tenka ista.

News from PSC HQ:-

The 1/72nd SdKfz 251/D German Halftrack kit is released and ready to ship!

3 models in the kit with 24 figures, plenty of extra stowage and we have managed to get the /10 platoon commander 37mm gun variant on the sprue as well. All this for only £12.95.

The 15mm Sherman M4A3 (late) Tank kit and the 15mm Mixed size plastic base set are on target for the end of the month.

June will see the 251 conversion kit in 15mm, 1/72nd Russian Zis 2 and 3 Artillery kit and the 15mm version of the Russian 45mm anti tank gun kit.

I am hoping to have the 15mm US Infantry, 15mm Sherman M4A3E8 Easy Eight and 15mm Zis 2 and 3 for July. I am also planning a nice, welcome surprise for July, but not telling yet!

News from PSC HQ:-

Bit of a good news/bad news bulletin.

Getting the bad news out the way first - after a delayed release of the 1/72nd Universal Carrier due to summer holidays, we thought we had finally got the kit out when a valiant mercy dash from the factory got us the first kits in sunday morning at Colours at Newbury Racecourse. However, we are not happy with some of the fittings so we are going to make some amendments before releasing properly - I could weep. On the bright side, these tweaks should only take a few days and even in its current form, it looks an absolutely cracking model! I have put the kit back in the forthcoming products section with a release date of the 24th just to be sure but it should be sooner. As soon as they are ready to go I will get them out. Profuse apologies to all those who have pre-ordered and are waiting patiently - I hold my hand up and say my fault entirely! To all those who have pre-ordered I would like to offer a free sprue to say sorry - could you please email me at [email protected] clearly stating your name and order number and sprue preference.

Now the Good News!

The 15mm Zis 2/3 field/AT gun kit should be ready this week but I will only load it onto the webstore when it is ready and we are happy with it.

The 15mm Tiger I is racing along and will be released along with the 1/72nd Stug G kit in October (early October for the Tiger).

November should see 15mm US Infantry, 1/72nd T70 and 15mm T70.

My lads have started work simultaneously on the 15mm M3 halftrack, 1/72nd Pak 38 and 15mm US Heavy Weapons and we are hoping to squeeze at least one of these in before Christmas.

Later this month/early October will see 18 more decal sets to coincide with the launch of our Battlegroup Kursk rules - 15mm 1st SS at Kursk, 2nd SS at Kursk, 3rd SS at Kursk, Gross Deutschland at Kursk and 2 mixed Wehrmacht Panzer Divisions at Kursk plus 3 generic Soviet 15mm decal sets. In addition all these sets are being released in 1/72nd scale too!

I have just had my first shipment of new Zvezda 15mm Matilda IIs and Matador trucks - available in the featured products section as well as the main webstore.

We are also taking on the new range of 1/72nd Easy Assmbly tank kits from S Model. The first 2 kits, Panzer II Ausf C and the Italian L33 light tank, should be with me in 2-3 weeks time. Pre-order now in the forthcoming products below. I have some samples and boy, they look good!

Battlegroup Kursk pre-orders have not reached 500 yet so there is still time to take advantage of the fantastic pre-order deal. It is with the printers so should be with us end September/early October. The prize draw will take place in about 2 weeks time.

We finally got the 1/72nd Stug III sprues on Friday so we can finally ship all those BGK pre-orders patiently hanging on for the free 1/72nd Stug sprue. Many thanks for your patience and apologies again for the delay.

The pre-order programme has been a great success and I will run a similar pre-order deal and prize draw for Battlegroup Normandy next Spring. However, to safeguard what is left of my hair and keep my blood pressure within tolerable limits any sprue offer will be something that can be shipped immediately. I am planning a whole wealth of Normandy loveliness for next spring/summer - some little surprises that I think you will like!
