As the winds of fate blow through Western Immoren factions find themselves in a deadly conundrum either join with lesser enemy to fight a greater threat or face annihilation. Treaties are signed and agreements made but how long can this fragile alliance hold?

1000 Point 2 vs. 2 Warmachine/Hordes Battle

Each player brings a 500 point List with non-epic Warcasters/Warlocks. Teams consist of one Warmachine Faction and one Hordes faction playing together as a team.
Valid combinations are as follows;

Cygnar with Orboros or Trollbloods
Khador with Everblight or Orboros
Cryx with Everblight or Skorne
Menoth with Skorne or Trollbloods
Trollbloods with Cygnar or Menoth
Orboros with Cygnar or Khador
Everblight with Cryx or Khador
Skorne with Cryx or Menoth
Mercenaries with any valid Faction or any Horde

Each match is decided by the team with the most Victory Points after 6 rounds unless a team loses both of their Warcasters/Warlocks. As soon as deployment is completed teams cannot discuss tactics taking place on the board and one of the players must be present at the board at all times. During the match 1 player may ask to confer with his partner. There are 3 confers per match per team and a conference may last up to 2 minutes. Once the conference is over it may not be restarted again and a new ‘confer’ must be declared.
Every time a player discusses/suggests/signs a tactic to his partner outside of the conference a Victory Point is awarded to the opposing team. This is to be decided by the judge.

Entry Rules and Conditions

• Entry applicant can only field one entry in each tournament category and each team must consist of exactly 2 players. Entries must be submitted in writing with the Points cost and victory point values on the day of the tournament.
• An entrance fee of 200 dinars per team needs to be paid. This entitles each player to a free drink during the game.
• The tournament is open to the first 8 teams to sign up and pay their entrance fee.
• The deadline for entry is November 5th.
• Both players must be available to play all their matches. If they are absent or late they may forfeit that match.
• Players that are ‘borrowing’ models must also be able to field the model at the time of playing. Failure to do so will mean that the player must continue without the model.
• Any contested decisions can be referred to a judge. The judges’ ruling is final.

Please note Sigil bears no responsibility for models lost or damaged on its premises and asks entrants to bring only the models they intend to field.

EDIT: one question though, is the rule that we both need to have equal 500 pts armies, or can we "borrow" up to 50pts to each other, so that we still have 1k pts in total, but one has 550 while the other one has 450 or so?

Not really as once the final team wins there can be a 500 point face off battle between the winners to find the outright winner. Or not as you prefer. I did say that it was a 'fragile alliance'.

This is a true story - the reason why I chose the name "Fantasy Games Serbia" was so that if the hobby shop died on its arse I could start a sex shop instead without having to rebrand.

They will get painted. And quickly, I presume. Probably squeeze them in after I finish Bojan's stuff (I have it for ages) and before I start with Rick's (there's just too much of it). And I really like the models.

2 b. Rick (Highborn Born Covenant)

Lonely Hearts

1. Stef - Cryx
2. Momcilo - Menoth
3. Ratgod - Orboros
4. Stevo - Cygnar

Shae/Privateers are not a valid combination with Cryx.
Shunka - could you play Trollbloods or Skorne to maximize the Hordes players? Maybe join with Momcilo and then Dawngreeter could partner Gorgej/Vedran and Ratgod could pair with Stevo's Cygnar? That will put us at five or six teams already and give us a nice experienced/noob mix.

Shae can play with any Hordes factions and mercs can play with any valid Warmachine faction. So no Alexia with Menoth, no Ashlynn with Khador etc

I'm at a loss here...
Shae, as the Talion charter, can play only with Hordes, but bart with thalion charter can play only with warmachine factions? Am I getting it right? Also, Magnus can play with all warmachine factions (sans cygnar), but cannot play with Hordes factions?

Bart as the 4 star can play with numerous warmachine and Hordes factions
Shae as the talion charter cannot (normally) play with any warmachine factions - so for this event he cannot play with Warmachine but can play with Hordes.

Basically the idea is Warmachine plays with Hordes and vice versa. As Mercs are supposedly the weaker faction they can play with their properly alloted Warmachine Faction or any Hordes faction. So play the Talion Charter but play it with a Hordes faction.

Does that make sense?
